CMD-W DOH, A Safari Extension for preventing accidental tab closings
CMD-W DOH is a Safari Extension that protects your favorite sites against accidental closure. You provide a list of up to five of your favorite URLs, and the extension inserts a confirmation box before allowing any tab containing one of those URLS to close.
I created it after accidentally closing my Pandora tab in the middle of a song for the thousandth time. By default, the extension protects Pandora, Last.fm, and The Sixty One — my three favorite music sites — but you can change those defaults to whatever you like. After installation, open the extension’s settings (within Safari’s Preferences menu) and paste up to five of your favorite URLs into the provided boxes.
